Repair the Broken altar!!!

An altar is a place of worship, where God is approached, it is a place of God's presence, a place where God's fire comes down.
I told us yesterday that God will not send his fire on a broken altar. But many people approach God on broken altar.
It is unfortunate that unregenerate, half-baked or unbaked christian try to call down fire, but they fail because they fail to repair the altar. Dead altar produces dead congregation.
There is problem in the church as a result of broken altar ,no genuine salvation in the church (note that the people acknowledged God after the fire came down 1Kings 18:39), worldliness, noise instead of genuine message. When there is no rain there is no blessing.
Commercializing the church, quantity instead of quality worshipers, narrow way  turned to broad way, no revival. All this are example of broken altar.
God will raise Elijah, who will not only challenge the Prophets of Baal but also call down fire, after repairing the broken altar and praying sincerely to God.
Let us stand up and  go back to God, to our first love.(2 Chronicles 7:14).
